it might be because im super goth, but i want to cut holes into my sweatshirt like this. im really bad at doing things like that though, so i would probably have to pay someone to do it as perfectly as it looks in the picture. but thats not really living up to the goth tradition, is it?

albert hammond jr has a line of suits. he is the guitarist for the strokes, and maybe the most fashionable one? which is saying a lot since they are all pretty well fashioned. they mostly look like things he has worn. however, i still think it is cool that he has ventured into something like this. i want every dude i know to wear one all the time. if only life was perfect.

these remind me of the photoshoot he did with his then girlfriend agyness deyn. while i dont think i care for her that much, they were really cute together. i saw them once in the east village walking their dogs. TERESA WAS FREAKING OUT. i think the dogs sold me really. anything with dogs is forever cute. this spread is too adorable. wish they could stay like this forever (BRAND NEW, SOCO AMARETTO LIME LYRIC, HUH?) .

i think it is safe to safe we have all seen the new moon trailer (and probably jizzed ourselves, amirite?). i saw twilight in theaters, not like the night it came out or anything, I AINT NO TWI-HARD. i even had to look up what those bitches like to call themselves. however, like the twi-hards, i did happen to fall in love with edward cullen. well not really, more

like robert pattinson when he looks mad pale and is rocking ray bans and a gloomy face, and not when he is eternally thirsting for my blood and being a hella controlling douche.

but new m00n looks hella adventurous and action packed and dudes turn into wolves. there are also new characters which PRAISE THE LAWD! we dont have to watch k-stew and rpattz terrible acting for two hours straight.

also most importantly mr. dazzle face himself gets himself some spray on abs. i wish i could have tattooed on abs or something. that way i wouldnt have to work out, but i wouldnt have to keep re-applying either.

i wish i could pretend i made this image, but if i did take credit for it, i would have to explain the mariah carey part. and i really have no idea what that means at all. mariah is too perfect (anyone who created the song 'fantasy' is a god in my book.) to ever consider spray on abs.

edit: ok, since i like to uphold journalistic credibility as much as possible, i google image searched 'mariah carey spray on abs'. i guess this explains everything. i wonder if they used the same graffiti artist for this shit.

maybe they should have just gotten mariah to play edward cullen?

participating socially.

during my last semester at lang (too soon-never forget.), i took a class called participation literacy and the professor, trebor scholz, ended up being one of my favorite and most interesting teachers i've had. he put together this conference on digital labor which is to be held at lang from nov. 12-14, which features many of the other wonderful teachers i've had during my time at lang. i'm very proud that i was able to be their students and learn from them.

i just died.

i was checking out boy by band of outsiders show on style.com and my dreams all came true. check it out. 

FUCKING SWEATIES!!! scott sternberg just gave a hugee middle finger to the world of high fashion by doing this. and i love him for it. they may be for men, but this is one small step for man, but one giant leap for meeeeeee! soon sweatpants will be everywhere. 

ugh and karen walkers collection was too perfect for words. i was going to put a few pictures of my favorites but i soon realized i was saving every look. but i really enjoy these two dresses. 

it seems like people think boat shoes are the shit to rock next season. too bad they didnt realize that everyone was wearing them for dayzzz now. 

also im still wearing the same shit i always do and have not put effort into my style. get over it.
